Description

A classic coffee from the renowned Tarrazu region of Costa Rica, grown at high altitude by smallholder farmers. Warm days, cool nights, and rich soils allow the coffee cherries to ripen slowly, resulting in dense, flavour-packed beans. Fully washed and carefully prepared (EP), this coffee delivers a clean, precise cup that’s easy to enjoy every day.

Profil :

This Tarrazu SHB EP is a high-altitude arabica, roasted to highlight its natural clarity and balance. In the cup, it’s bright yet smooth, with a lively but well-integrated acidity and a gentle underlying sweetness.

Notes de dégustation :

Fresh apple notes lead the way, giving the cup a crisp, juicy feel. These are followed by a soft almond sweetness and light caramel tones, finishing clean, elegant, and quietly comforting.

Idéal pour :

Filter brewing (V60, Chemex, Kalita), batch brew, French press —
and also a clean, balanced espresso with subtle sweetness and refined aromatics.

L’histoire :

Grown in the highlands of Tarrazu, at the heart of the Talamanca mountain range, this coffee reflects Costa Rica’s deep-rooted coffee tradition. Produced by dedicated smallholders and processed with great care, it’s a dependable, expressive coffee that showcases why Tarrazu remains one of Central America’s most respected coffee regions.
